Grant County Soil & Water Conservation District, Wabash County Soil & Water Conservation District and Wabash River Defenders are partnering with The Conservation Cropping Systems Initiative to host a Soil Health Field Day on September 10th(flyer attached). The event will take place at the Wabash County Farm, 1323 Manchester Ave., Wabash, Indiana. Registration begins at 9:00 AM, and the event will conclude at 11:30 AM.
Keynote Speaker Frank Gibbs will conduct his “Smoke Demonstration” using smoke and pressurizing tile lines to force the smoke through the soil surface. Other features for the day include a Rainfall Infiltration demonstration and a Cover Crop Walk Through.
