Past meets Present at the Kokomo Art Center in September with artwork from the KAA permanent collection alongside a Volunteer Exhibition of art by Jacob Hernandez, Tammy Roe, Lesley Wysong and Rod Wysong. The art center volunteers are showing a variety of their art including pen & ink drawings, oil and watercolor paintings, wood carvings, woven pine needle baskets, polymer clay sculptures, pottery and painted china. There is a sampling of work by the Pottery Boy, Rod Wysong, as well as a butternut wood carving tribute to Jimmy Buffett by Tammy Roe. Our newest volunteer, Jacob Hernandez, is exhibiting his fabulous pen & ink drawings.
KAA permanent collection paintings by Paul Conner, Geneva “Jean” Hippensteel, Leota Loop, Seth Mast, Laura Brown McMillan, Ken Torno and highlighted September artist Shirley Quakenbush are included in the exhibit as well.
