Our Spring finale, Symphonic Power, is a tribute to very large orchestra forces incorporated into film. Themes from Camille St. Saens’ “Symphony No. 3″(“The Organ Symphony”) are heavily featured in the movie series that started with “Babe, Pig in the City.” The large symphony and grand organ sounds will literally blow you out of your seats. And, sine we are using large orchestra, we might as well perform one of the most famous classical music pieces of all time that has also been featured in several films, Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero.”
