The Greentown Youth Baseball and Greentown Youth
Softball have teamed up this year and are having opening
ceremonies together. On Friday, April 21 st , (Youth Softball)
is having a community night with lots of games and
festivities. On April 22 nd , we both will be participating in a
parade starting at 9:00 A.M. that will go from the
Fairgrounds…South on Meridian to Walnut…then West to
Harrison and to the ball fields. Opening ceremonies are a
very big deal to our leagues and all the kids will have their
names announced after the parade. On Saturday, along
with the parade, we are having a Ford Drive Event in the
Eastern High School parking lot to help the leagues raise
money for much needed repairs, Chase Romero will be
there Saturday with his K’s-a- dillas, and Vickers will be
there the whole weekend selling shirts for the leagues as a
fundraisers as well. There will be a lot of games and fun
