It’s been a real bad day for the Magrath sisters. Lenny, the oldest sister, just turned 30 and has no man in sight; Meg, the middle sister, is back home in Hazlehurst, Mississippi after a failed singing carrier in Hollywood; and Babe, the youngest sister, is out on bail after shooting her husband. As the sisters, along with Babe’s awkward and inexperienced lawyer and the sisters’ prudish cousin Chick, try to figure out how to keep Babe out of prison, they must also deal with their grandfather’s declining health while trying to keep all of their secrets hidden from one another. This hilarious yet moving show will have you laughing, screaming, and crying along with the crazy and deeply loving Magrath sisters.
