I sat down with Agent LeAnn Devine of Shelter Insurance to get more information on this! Here’s how our conversation went!
Me: We all insure our cars and homes, but a lot of us haven’t heard of pet insurance! Can you tell us a little bit about what it covers?

Me: Being a pet owner myself, I know how expensive the vet bills can be!
LeAnn: Yes they can! And this plan can save you up to 90% on vet bills. It’s also very flexible to meet your needs. There are 3 different plan options that you can choose from.
Me: How much would something like this cost?

Letter from the Director
Barktober Fest was a great success! It looked like everyone who attended had a lot of fun between the dog walk, vendors and contests. Attendance was a down a little which we think was due to so many other events taking place and also the fear of rain. We lucked out though and had beautiful weather. If you didn’t get to come and would like to purchase our signature Barktober Fest bag they are available for a donation of $30. You can purchase them in the Cat Café.
We will be closed this Saturday as we are taking many of our animals to the Mega Adoption Event in Indianapolis. This is a great venue to see hundreds of animals in one location. The event is Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th.
Our adoptable pet for this week is Ariel. She is a five year old Calico. She is a big and beautiful green eyed super friendly lady. She was surrendered to us when her owners moved and couldn’t take her along. Ariel has been enjoying her time at the shelter in our front reception area as a free roaming office cat. If you are interested in meeting her please ask when you come in.
